Our SafeKid program encompasses all services available to children at the shelter.

Support Groups

Our advocates conduct individual and group counseling as well as case management.

Court Advocacy

SafeHouse of Seminole has court advocates who help victims of domestic violence.

Volunteer "Helping Hands" Program

SafeHouse of Seminole relies on the goodwill of dedicated individuals to continue its fight against domestic abuse.

If you can spare an hour a month or a few hours a year, you can become part of a greater family, striving for a world free from violence. We value your time and aim to make best possible use of your skills.

We are actively looking for volunteers for the following roles:

Administrative Support

Assist with office work, filing, data entry.

Event Volunteer

Child Care Assistant

Assist in our SafeKid program with arts and crafts, reading and tutoring.

Coach a kid

Give an hour a week to read, toss a ball or play a game with a child

Beautification Projects

Trim hedges and help maintain our grounds
