Emergency Shelter The shelter program of SafeHouse of Seminole exists to serve victims of domestic violence and their children who believe that they are in imminent danger in their current living environment. While at the shelter time is spent on a daily and weekly basis with our domestic violence advocates. The advocates conduct individual and group counseling as well as case management. Also on staff in the shelter is a children's coordinator who conducts individual and group counseling for our younger residents. Setting Short and long term goals is encouraged with hope of empowering the residents to take the lead in bringing those goals to reality.
