Emancipation of Me

A Curriculum based program | MissionStatement:

The Emancipation of Me is designed for the participants to free their thinking of typical social gender stereotypes.  Participants will explore the way that their thinking is influenced by outside forces (i.e. family, media, peers, etc.).  They will be encouraged to open their minds to others points of views, in hopes that they will gain a greater sense of self and cognitively reflect and chose the societal influences that create the world they would like to endorse.  With this new found process, our hopes are for the participants to increase their self awareness and establish expectations and boundaries to form healthy relationships.
